This is a add-on to the First Aid/CPR/AED course.
Service Description
First Aid for Severe Trauma (FAST) provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to respond to an emergency involving life-threatening bleeding, including how to recognize a life-threatening bleeding emergency, ensure safety and communicate effectively in an emergency, control life-threatening bleeding using direct pressure, a tourniquet, or both. Class is approximately 90 minutes. All American Red Cross courses have the option to add-on an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) for $75 that includes 1 - Modular carry case 1 - CAT tourniquet 1 - FAST tourniquet 2 - Vented chest seals 1 - Emergency or Israeli bandage 1 - Pair of trauma shears 2 - Pairs of latex gloves 1 - Package of gauze 1 - NPA
